Emergency Medical Services

 

 Hancock Fire Department provides First Responder Medical Services to the Town of Hancock as well as surrounding communities if called upon to do so.

 

This means that when you call 911 and ask for an ambulance, the fire department will be dispatched at the same time and sent to your location as members are available. This is in an effort to get help to you the fastest way possible.

 

All of our First Responders are trained Medical Technicians and the level of their training may vary from First Responder to Paramedic.

 

Our First Responders will respond to your location and provide medical care to the patient, then when the ambulance arrives they will transfer the patient to the care of Northern Light Ambulance.
